The Timber Pavilion
A house that keeps the garden in the room. Timber, glass and one mature tree set the plan.
The story
Evening light reaches the table before anyone switches a lamp on. Rooms open to the lawn, and the tree stays in the frame from the hall, the dining room and the terrace. Materials stay few: timber, pale stone, glass.
